He’s been touted as one of the best African DJs and one of the old hiplife musicians who propelled the hiplife genre but DJ Azigiza takes on another role tonight at the Accra International Conference Center, The Dome.The former DJ and hiplife musician who has coveted to christianity will definitely be pushing the right buttons to make the progress of ‘Back In The Day’ concert happen tonight.
Tagged as the biggest night in the hiplife scene, it will also feature performances from Tic Tac, Kontihene, Slim Busterr, Reggie Rockstone, Batman, Kokovelli, K. K. Fosu, TH 4 Kwages, Akatakyie, T-Blaze, Ex-Doe, Chicago, Okyeame Kwame[ Akyeame], Hammer, VIP, Obrafour, Keteke, Sonny Achiba, Ded Buddy, Abrewa Nana, Nananom and more.
Azigiza Junior has released “Me do wo Abena” (1994), with hit single – ‘Kponkpa’ and later released ‘Two Degrees Kponkpa’ and followed it ‘Wo ye bea’ featuring Tic Tac, in 1996.
Empire Entertainment, led by Joy FM’s radio presenter, Bola Ray who played a major player during his days at Radio Universe and Top Radio - in collaboration with MediaGH, are bringing back the good old days with the “Back In The Days” Concert.
