WHAT IS PRESIDENT MAHAMA BRINGING ON BOARD

Jerry John Rawlings was the first president of the democratic state of Ghana.Ghana became a democratic nation in the year 1992 when it held it's first elections.
Jerry John Rawlings who was the sitting president at that time was contested by J.A Kuffour who unfortunately lost.It was under the regime of Rawlings that Ghana held it's first democratic elections.
after the first term of Rawlings in 1996,another election was held and  "junior jesus" as he (Rawlings) was popularly known won again.During JJ's tenure he introduced election into our democracy.
An election was held which was 2000,that is after the term of Rawlings had expired, the election  was contested by J.A Kuffour on the ticket of the N PP and prof Atta Mills on the ticket of the NDC.After a tightly contested elections, kuffor won and was sworn in as president.in 2004,another election was contested and kuffour retained the seat of government.when "gentle jak" as kuffour is popularly known assumed office,he also made sure the freedom of expression was intensified.he gave ghanaians the free will to talk their minds freeely without any fear.this is the contribution he also brought to ghana's democracy.
When kuffour's term expired,he was succeeded by Atta Mills in 2008 after he had contested Nana Addo for the presidency.this election was unprecedented in the country's history.the elction went through three rounds before the results were declared.mills was sworn in as president and also the continued the democratic journey.asomdwoe hene as he was affectionately called made sure he preached and fought for peace for his country.mills also met the press men annually to brief them on the policies of government and also to answer question from journalists/though he(mills) couldn't finish his term,he made this meeting a possibility annually.
Almost every president since 1992 has added something new to ghana's democracy when they assume office and also continue with the contribution their predecessors hsd fought for/so the question is,is mahama going to continue with what mills left behind?and what new thing is he bringing on board
