What Oye Lithur actually said about homosexuality!

Following the nomination of renowned gender activist, Nana Oye Lithur as Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection (nee Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs), There have been uproars by a section of the public who believe her appointment into the ministry will only help legalise homosexuality in Ghana.

Some group of pastors have vehemently opposed her nomination arguing that she has been an avid advocate for gays and homosexuals.

In order to put the argument into perspective, RadioXYZonline.com is reproducing an old interview with Nana Oye Lithur following late President Mills' position that he was not going to legalise homosexuality in the country despite calls by Uk Prime Minister that gay rights should be uphelld.

In the said interview she espouses her believe that nobody's rights should be trampled upon irrespective of their race, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
