According to an eyewitness, the bus caught fire between Anyinam and Osino, in the Eastern region.
Earlier report by some eyewitnesses had claimed it was a VIP bus that caught fire, however, reliable information trickling in indicates it is a mini Yutong bus.
No injuries have been recorded, but reports say all the luggage on board the bus have been burnt beyond recognition.
The cause of the fire has not been established as yet.
